Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT)

What is Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT)?

Integral Eye Movement Therapy, also known as IEMT is a developing area of rapid therapeutic change work, which was developed by Andrew T Austin from Steve and Connirae Andreas’ model of Eye Movement Integration, and his own extensive observations of neurological phenomena whilst his clients were accessing problematic imagery.

IEMT is a treatment that works with eye movements that are neither random nor simply a repetitive left and right movement in the hope that change will occur like other treatments out there. Instead, as Andrew T. Austins describes, it uses movements that precisely calibrate which axis through which to move the eyes, enabling the exploration work to occur with precision and at a remarkable speed.

IEMT generates change in undesired emotional states and identity imprints, opening up the possibility of creating the appropriate change in our emotional lives and our self-concept.

The process of IEMT explores the following questions:

“How did we learn to be this way?”

“How did we learn to feel this way?”

“By teaching resources and skills inside the problem state, IEMT appears to bring the client more into the present moment and enables them to stay out of past negative experiences...Practitioners consistently report that IEMT has created change in their clients where no other approach has worked previously.” - Andrew T. Austin

One-to-one IEMT sessions (face to face or online) - £60 per hour session or block of x4 sessions for £220 (savings £20).

Please note: No claim is made that IEMT works for every client, and for some clients it is a contra-indication. If there are any contra-indications, this will be discussed with you once I have received the consultation form. If so, we can discuss another form of treatment that may be more suitable to help you.
